I am sure you have watched a lot of romantic flicks and read some novels about lovey dovey couples.

To a certain extent, some of these stories do not capture a happily-ever-after ending and for me, I would feel like strangling the author or the script-writer for destroying the plot.

I was watching an old English film and it triggered me to cry at the ending.

This young lady, Olivia was diagnosed with Ovary Cancer and she was spared with only 3 more months to live. At first, she hesitated to reveal the truth to her boyfriend. She didn’t want to yoke him with this unbearable fact of her dying so soon. With thoughts of disappearing from her town, Olivia left a note for her beloved Mark, asking him to forget her for good before she fled to Surrey.

Mark, on the other hand, read the message the moment he came home, dashed to search for Olivia.

*To cut the story short*

Mark finally found her in Surrey. Knowing that Olivia’s days were numbered, Mark knelt on his knees as soon as he saw her. With his assuring words that he would never leave her and he took out a ring from his pocket. “Even if you have two weeks left, I would still want to marry you.” That was the exact words blurted by Mark which moved my heart.

And of course, Mark stood by her side day by day, fighting the cancer and his love was just simply overflowing for Olivia till her very last day. The saddest part was Olivia breathed her last breath while watching the scenic sunset with Mark, and her head was resting on his shoulder peacefully.

I am dazzled by Mark’s sacrificial and unconditional love for Olivia.

But if I were to face such situation, I would definitely go all out to support my love without any hesitation. I would love him even more as I know our days are ticking away.

Are there any man today who could be like Mark? If you found out that your girlfriend is dying soon, would you still marry her? Would you still love her as much as she was very healthy before? What would you do?

I don’t know, I am not a man.

This is the second part of the email which I received regarding Why Guys Like Girls and Vice Versa.

I actually edited some of the reasons. I am not sure what you (read: girls or ladies) think of these, but you probably can check the list yourself. I added some a little extra stuff because it applies to me.

Yeah, every girl likes guys with SKILLS. Now what skills?

1. The way they always wear their favorite cologne or perfume (which happens to be the
one that you bought them for their birthday)
2. The way they run their hands through your hair
3. The way that they look at you (read: the electrifying eyes) and you want to die right then and there (which I always did)
4. The way that they casually put their arms around you
5. The way that they kiss away your tears
6. The way that they then get mad at how they can’t make your problems go
away
7. The way they show off their skills in front of their friends when you are around even though they know they might fail to do it at times
8. How their eyes light up at the result of 3 hours of preparing for your date
9. How they always know just what to say to make you blush
10. How they sometimes think that they know just what to say to make you feel
better, even if you think that it is the worst thing that they could say
11. The way they hold you close when you are feeling cold

13. How they always smile when you are together
14. The way that they always let you win any game that you play together
15. … and then when you point that out to them they pretend to not know what

32. The way that they write you love letters even if they think that it is uncool and troublesome

38. The way they purposely sleep later than you, in order to watch how cute your look is when you are asleep.
39. The way they willingly to help you to wash dishes even though they hate to do housework
40. The way they spend a little extra time in front of the mirror than usual before dating you

In fact, reasons from #35 – #40 are written down based on my experience. I am sure you girls or guys would probably come out with more reasons than me.

Even if we could list down a million of reasons here, I am sure for the most of us, it just unexplainable why we love someone so dearly. Truly myself is a bare example here.

Now GIRLS, blah it all out now. What are the things that guys do that melt your heart? Or Guys, what are the things that you have done that captured your girls’ hearts?

Got this from my email as well lately. Do you have any idea why guys like girls?

I guess I have to agree with the given reasons why guys like girls. Perhaps you probably wanna check out if you (read: male) agree with these statements.

1. They will always smell good even if its just shampoo
2. The way their heads always find the right spot on our shoulder
3. How cute they look when they sleep

5. the way they kiss you and all of a sudden everything is right in the world
6. How cute they are when they eat
7. The way they take hours to get dressed but in the end makes it all worth while

10. The way they fish for compliments even though you both know that you think she’s the most beautiful thing on this earth
11. How cute they are when they argue
12. The way her hand always finds yours

Regardless if you love the girls, hate them, wish they would die or know that you would die without them, it matters not.

Because once in your life, whatever they were to the world they become everything to you. When you look them in the eyes, traveling to the depths of their souls and you say a million things without trace of a sound,you know that your own life is inevitable consumed within the rhythmic beatings of her very heart. Don’t you agree with this?

Guys love girls for a million reasons, I presume that no papers would do justice. It is a thing not of the mind but of the heart.

Come on, guys. If you beg to differ, why don’t you pour out your rantings here? I would love to know what other things that you love about your girlfriend or your wife?

Someone forwarded this to my email lately. In fact, I have received an email with the same content 4 years ago. It’s amazing that it’s still being circulated around. I was thinking some of you might not receive this email yet.

Now looking at the topic, you must be wondering. Wow. How do you get a perfect kiss? Let me share the contents and my humble opinions with you.

From the email, it stated that in order to form a more perfect kiss or enable the mighty hug to promote to whom we please, is to learn up the rules and regulations of kisses.

Section 1 : Where do You Kiss?
Well, there is a statement being sent across to your love when you kiss or touch any part of their body. Let’s check out what do these sweet kisses mean.

1. Kiss on the hand…. I adore you
2. Kiss on the cheek… I just want to be friends
3. Kiss on the neck… I want you
4. Kiss on the lips… I love you
5. Kiss on the ears… I am just playing
6. Kiss anywhere else … Let’s not get carried away
7. Look in your eyes … Kiss me
8. Playing with your hair… I can’t live without you
9. Hand on your waist… I love you too much to let you go

Section 2:The Commandments
1. Thou shall not squeeze to hard.
Wait. What do you mean by not squeezing too hard? Which part or where are they referring to now???

2. Thou shall not ask for a kiss, just give one or take one.
3. Thou shall kiss at every opportunity.
Huh? Every opportunity? Even when you are queuing up at a fast food restaurant?

Section 3: How to French Kiss
According to the email, you should follow these 10 steps.
1. Set the scene. Make sure that the mood and time are right.
2. Relax! Take a deep breath and let go of any tension in your neck and shoulders.
3. Put your arms around the person you want to kiss.
4. Start off with a normal kiss, not too firm, not too aggressive. Closing your eyes is optional.
5. In mid kiss, gently open your mouth and softly nudge the other persons mouth open using your tongue.
6. Again, not too aggressively, move your tongue inside the other persons mouth and playfully touch their tongue.
7. Read the other persons body language, if they seem tense or start to pull away, stop what you are doing.
8. If they open their mouth more or otherwise indicate they like the kiss, keep on doing what you have been only with a little more passion.
9. As the kissing gets going saliva build up can be a problem, don’t forget to swallow.
10. Make sure you keep your tongues relaxed but your lips tight (saliva again), you don’t want the kiss to turn messy.

Section 4: Extra Tips when You’re Kissing
* Don’t forget to breathe.
* Since French Kissing is “wetter” than other kinds of kissing it is a good idea to start with dry lips, don’t lick them first.
* If one of you have braces you can still French Kiss, you just have to be more careful and not as forceful when things get passionate.
* If both of you wear braces you can still French Kiss, you just have to be very gentle and avoid touching teeth.
* French Kissing definitely needs practice, but at least it is fun to practise this one! Practice Makes Perfect, isn’t it?

Wow, it felt like one whole lecture on Kissing 101. Theoretically, these tips are great. When it comes to practical, I am sure we can brush these aside. Now who doesn’t know how to kiss at this modern era? I am sure girls at the age of 13 and above would probably be smarter than us in kissing. *giggles*

Now, well at least they did mentioned that practice makes perfect.

So KEVIN, can I practise it with you now?
