I was working in Kota Kinabalu earlier this month and didn’t have a chance for a proper sightseeing tour around the city as I was tied up with work from 8 – 6 throughout the visit there.

As soon as lunch break came about, I quickly excused myself from the event just to treat myself to a sneak peak around Sutera Harbour resort where the medical congress was held.

How I wished I could just have a quick dip into the pool!

The room rates in Sutera Harbour are extremely expensive (approx. MYR 460++ per night) and that is why I didn’t have the chance to stay there.  Darn.

Isn’t it relaxing to face the sea and forget about everything else?

By now you all should know that I absolutely adore life by the seaside.

Darn, why doesn’t KL have any quality beaches within driving distances?

How I wished that my lunch break would never end so I could embrace the gentle breeze and soothing sounds of the waves endlessly.

Hmmmm I don’t want to work! Can I?

Just kidding, boss. I was just enjoying my lunch break.

In the evening, I was brought by my colleagues to Port View Seafood Village for dinner.

IMHO, dinner in Port View was nothing to shout about. But, my favourite dishes were the prawns and stir-fried black pepper ostrich.

However, I must applaud Port View for the entertaining Kadazan dance on the stage. Tourists, be it local or foreign, were trully enthralled by the wonderful performance.

And the performers even invite you for a picture or two.

Oh well, at least this working trip allowed me to have a memorable shot!

I have a new blog header today.

A big thank you to Madonna Nobel, a graphic design student from Inti International University College who has the passion of designing banners, headers, and flyers.

I can’t thank her enough for the cute header she has done for me. I guess this will last me another 7 months till I get a Christmas header.

I hardly do tags. I have been tagged by a friend whom I just got to know more lately.

Rules: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, its because I want to know more about you.

1. I recently found a few good friends through the game ‘Friends For Sale’ in Facebook.  Believe it or not, they are really nice people, especially my owner (no doubt about this).

2. I am someone who loves to travel. So nothing can stop me from traveling.

3. I am born in the year of the rat, but I love to be called piggy.

4. I once a knocked down a chicken when I was driving kinda fast along a bend near a kampung area.

5. I like to use an analogy to further describe a situation.

6. I have a brother who is 12 years younger, who is also born in the year of the rat like me. And coincidentally, my dad is also born in the year of the rat too, as he is 24 years older.

7. I fractured my wrist when I fell down from a monkey’s bar…and I was only 9 years old at that moment.

8. I believe in the total freedom of speech, no matter where you are.

9. I finished watching Desperate Housewives Season 1 in less than 24 hours.(Yes, I didn’t sleep the whole night.)

10. I believe that distance is not a factor when it comes to love (relationship) as long as you believe in it wholly.

11. I only believe in my God, my Jesus who is my everything that I rely on.

12. Related to #1, I am addicted to FFS now.

13. I love to go for Karaoke. I love singing, that’s why.

14. I must eat my McNuggets once a week at least.

15. I have a friend who shares the same surname, same church, same hometown, same primary school, same high school, same godparents, same college (pre-university studies) and the same love of God. (click here to find out who)

17. I treasure friends a lot, especially those who make a point to keep in touch with me.

20. I hate classical music even though I passed the Grade 7 practical and Grade 8 theory in piano.

21. A fan of Manchester United since 1996 and will never stop supporting Manchester United.

22. I am a very talkative person.

23. I love to laugh. I have no idea why.

24. I always wished to have the power of ‘Micah’ in Heroes. I can just go to any ATM to withdraw cash.

25. I love languages. I pick up foreign languages faster than my friends. I love Japanese and Spanish!
