So You Would Come

14 April 2009

When I am down, the only one that I could really trust is Daddy God who comforts me at all times.

Yeah, turning to Daddy God will be the best option when you are out of wits and totally in despair. And one of the song that pops into my head lately is “So You Would Come” by Hillsong. It’s a very old song but it has meaningful lyrics that I would love to share with you.

Here’s the youtube video of the song:

Before the world began
You were on His mind
And every tear you cry
Is precious in His eyes
Because of His great love
He gave His only Son
Everything was done
So you would come

Nothing you can do
Could make Him love you more
And nothing that you’ve done
Could make Him close the door
Because of His great love
He gave His only Son
Everything was done
So you would come

Come to the Father
Though your gift is small
Broken hearts, broken lives
He will take them all
The power of the Word
The power of His blood
Everything was done
So you would come

Gift of Love

5 April 2009

The Holy Week begins today. Most Christians around the world will begin their prayer & fasting session throughout this week. Some has even started the fasting a month ago to complete the 40-days fasting.

Some might not be able to due to health problems.

But Christians can opt to choose what to fast from. I have a friend who is fasting from pork only while there is another one who is fasting from fast food. Some even choose to fast from PS2 games or Dota, while some fast from Secular music and listen to only gospel music.

It depends what you want to give up during this week. I am definitely giving up on food since I love to eat.

Well, today I am not talking about fasting, but I would love to share this video with you.

Happy Fasting and Easter is just a week away.

Enjoy the Gift of Love from the Heaven above….

The Laws of Answered Prayer

25 March 2009

Have you ever thought that why your prolonged prayer has not been answered? Last Sunday’s sermon by my church pastor was simply inspiring and I believe if you have been praying for something for a very long time, you should read on.

Praying Hands

Law #1 – The Law of Relationship

You must be wondering, why relationship?

It’s simple. Imagine a friend who is not close to you at all but approached you to give him/ her RM500 as he is going through a tight wallet for that month. Will you? Definitely NOT. Unless he/ she is someone who’s really close to your heart.

Good friends

Thus, you have to develop a close relationship with God if you want to seek your prayers answered. It works similiarly like your good friends.

Law #2 – The Law of Authority

The name of God (for Christians, it will be J-E-S-U-S), is the most powerful name in the universe. We are supposed to live by His Law and abide in Him.

Law #3 – The Law of Divine Will

We have to understand that the prayer is not about demanding things from God or manipulating God to do what we want Him to do. It must be done in His will.

Baby praying

Having said that, the prayer with God should be intensely personal, deep and meaningful. It is similar as how you share with your earthly father on your problems and seeking solutions and assistance from him.

Law #4 – The Law of Faith

Faith has always been the most famous word in any belief. Faith gives you the ability to live beyond our limit. That is for sure. And that is the time when God comes in and we see things Unlimited.

Faith in Cross

When we have faith, we will believe our prayers will be answered.

******************

It is simply amazing that how God does His wonders and works in our lives. Simply astonishing, astounding and indescribable.

His answered prayers may come easily as direct answers, delayed answers, different answers or even denied answers. But we all know, God will surely want the best for us. Agree?

I guess I have to stop preaching in this entry. But a moment of inspiration especially to those who have been praying for a very long time. Do not give up. Keep praying. I am joining you too!
