Manchester United vs Malaysia XI (Asia Tour 2009)

20 July 2009

I think my pictures will speak forth a thousand words for the atmosphere at Bukit Jalil National Stadium last Saturday. Words can’t express how ecstatic I was when I joined in the sea of red (read: Manchester United theme color for most jerseys).

The match between Manchester United vs Malaysia XI was simply

I won’t say much for my pictures will speak boldly to you. Enjoy the pictures!

I can’t believe there are so many MAN UTD supporters out there. My eyes almost popped out when I entered the stadium!

The amazing sea of red! And I was one of the 40,000 crazy supporters who joined in the madness of the stadium!

This poor boy gets boo-ed all the time because he is in Chelsea jersey.

In searing heat, the Red devils were given a good workout by their enthusiastic and energetic opponents who were only five minutes away from a famous result.

All thanks to Michael Owen’s debut winning goal!

I just could not stop laughing at the way they lifted up their butts and legs! (*giggling away*)

It was a good match between Malaysia XI and Manchester United.

Michael Owen secured a 3-2 victory for the Reds in their opening Asia Tour match, coming off the bench to fire the winner on his debut against a hard-working Malaysian XI. Good job, Malaysian team!

Just a note, all pictures were taken by me with my 2 year old-worthy digital camera – Canon Ixus 860IS.  I still love my camera even though it is not a DSLR.

Edison Chen in Zouk KL

One of the reasons why Zouk was packed like sardines last Saturday.

He didn’t look that gorgeous after all the sex scandal issues last year. Hmmm….

Congratulations on their wedding!

29 December 2008

You must be wondering why I was missing in action from blogging again! Apologize for the hiatus and I seriously can’t wait to blog again.

Well, I was… I mean, we….a few of us were busy a very good friend’s wedding recently.

Justin & Carysse

Justin & Carysse met each other in 2004. On the 27th December 2008, they decided to tie the knot.

Both aged 24, knew that they are meant for each other, walking the journey of life together, hand in hand.

As for me, I was honoured to be their wedding manager. To assist them with coordinating the ushering and reception, plus being the head of Ji Mui’s (sisters) in the bride-grabbing session!

With that, I am proud to present you some shots captured during the bride-grabbing session on the 27th Dec’s morning.

Justin and his brothers must go through 6 stages of this session. Of course, he has the support of the sporting guys!

One of the games is to get the guys pass on pills with their lips. Looks gross but it filled the hotel corridor with laughter and hysteria!!

Looks like Gerald is having difficulty in balancing the pill.

The 4th game was to get Justin some hands-on training in dealing with diapers. Exactly. Justin had to wrap 3 diapers on his brothers and then feed them with the baby bottles.

The baby bottles were filled with Anmum milk + a little bit of Milo.

Well, Jason is enjoying the milk without complaints!! Anyway, does he have a choice not to drink? No! He has to finish it by hook or by crook.

The fun of being on the bride’s side. You get to see your guy friends being bullied by the girls. How evil I am. Muahaha!

Overall, the wedding ran very smoothly. After the entire day and night’s celebration, we just needed to chill out with some necktie pulling session!

Can I have another tie to pull now?
