There is something I received in my email, which I would like to share with you.
This is NOT fair!
Why is it that men are allowed to drive 140kph while women at 35kph?
What a debate!!

Actually it is the difference of speed that create accident, not the speed itself. I would not drive on that road if men drive at 140 while women drive at 35.
People tend to drive on the road to their comfortable and safe speed limit, even without the sign. Minority who speed will speed, no matter you put the sign there or not.
Researches actually shows a lot of times by decrease the speed limit actually create more accidents. Because when everyone drives at 100km/h, and the speed limit is set at 90km/h, the one that actually drives at 90km/h create more hazard for the rest.
Researches shows the best way is to observes the average flow of traffics and use it as a guide to set the limit.

on a lighter and less technical note,
the legal speed limit for both sexes is 69 kmh.

In all fairness, some men also only deserve to drive at 35kmph…
And some dont even deserve to drive…
