Dear kawan-kawan, I am back from the long hiatus. I promise to keep up with my blogging pace and return with a bigger Bang!!

Now here I am going to brush you through with photographs captured in Toledo, Spain.

Toledo is a city and municipality located in central Spain, 70 km south of Madrid, which was declared one of the World’s Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 due to its vibrant history and culture.

Isn’t the view so scenic that you feel like jumping into the Tagus river that flows through Toledo?

Just kidding, the water is too cold for you and you’d probably die of hypothermia.

The shadow of the San Martin Bridge.

San Martin Bridge is a medieval bridge across the Tagus river in Toledo. The bridge was constructed in the late 14th century by archbishop Pedro Tenorio to provide access to the old town from the west. It features five arches, with the largest in the middle reaching an impressive span length of 40 m

Toledo was renowned throughout the Middle Ages.

Toledo was declared a World Heritage Site due to its extensive cultural and monumental heritage as one of the former capitals of the Spanish Empire and place of coexistence of Christian, Jewish and Moorish cultures.

Today, you will see the religious monuments the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the Synagogue of El Transito, Mosque of Cristo de la Luz and the church of San Sebastián dating from before the expulsion, still maintained in good condition in Toledo.

Here we are in the back alleys around the old town of Toledo.

Cathedral of Toledo was built between 1226-1493 and the structure of the building is greatly influenced by the French Gothic of the 13th century, but adapted to Spanish taste.

Isn’t the cathedral unique in its design?

The cathedral of course draws a lot of attention from both local and foreign tourists.

I just love the heritage of the Middle Ages.

This is the famous Mazapan, which is a confection consisting primarily of sugar and almond meal.

I love their streets, filled with French Sycamore leaves. It depicts the Autumn atmosphere throughout the trip.

You have no idea how much I miss Spain now.

Paella is a well-known Spanish dish which consists of rice, meat, seafood, beans and vegetables. It is normally served as appetizer among the Spanish community.  Yes… APPETIZER with the bun!!!

And the bun is freaking too hard for me to bite! Gosh!! Can anyone help me please?
