Does SERESIS work?

22 September 2008

I just bought Seresis from a nearby pharmacy to try. Hearing from a couple of friends that Seresis worked wonders with their skin complexion. Since I have volcano eruption on my forehead and chin, boy, why don’t I try Seresis in exchange of radiant skin?

Seresis
Seresis – cell protection from the inside, to preserve a radiant skin

Seresis works as an optimal dietary supplement for adults and the tagline for Seresis is Cell Protection from the Inside.

What is so great about Seresis?

According to the Local Product Circular (LPC), Seresis is a preparation containing a full complex of antioxidants. It helps ensure an optimal protection against harmful free radicals. Free radicals are highly reactive chemical substances produced during normal cell metabolism, but also induced in large numbers by environmental factors such as smoke or UV-radiation. Increased pollution and unhealthy lifestyles weaken the body’s defence system and reduce its ability to maintain a physiologically acceptable level of free radicals. Seresis works from within by providing the body with a well-balanced combination of anti-oxidants. With its balanced formula containing two plant extracts as well as vitamins and selenium, Seresis helps to counterbalance the damaging effects of free radicals in a natural way.

Seresis should be taken 1-2 capsules daily, taken with a glass of water, preferably with meals. It is recommended to take Seresis for at least 1-2 months continuously.

Fortunately, I knew someone who knew the pharmacist in Uptown, thus I have a great discounted price in getting 90 tablets for RM118 only. If not, I would be paying at least RM150 for it.

According to the pharmacist, I would see results of my glowing skin from 40-60 days onwards as Seresis works from the inside, considering that I remember to take at least 1-2 capsules daily!!

So, I should look into the mirror on 1st November and see if the mirror cracks by then. LOL!!

Addicted to Dramas and Series

20 September 2008

Besides blogging and surfing the Internet during my free time, I have to admit that I have a serious addiction towards dramas and series.

Moonlight Resonance

At this very moment, I am crazily addicted to MOONLIGHT RESONANCE by the Hongkong TVB’s production. This drama carries up to 40 episodes and the finale will definitely end with a Big Bang tomorrow night. I have been chasing this exciting series since end of July (Thanks to Astro On Demand). If you don’t subscribe to Astro, no worries because you can watch the series online here.

I can’t wait for tomorrow’s 2-hour finale (episode 39 & 40) because I don’t like the feeling of hanging in between episodes!!! Moreover, the ending of episode 38 was rather at the climax for me.

Heroes

Well, even if I have finished Moonlight Resonance, I know I will be addicted to more series such as Heroes. The nine month wait is finally over. Heroes premieres on Monday, September 22!

The cast of NBC’s Heroes

My heart is pounding real fast because I have been waiting for so long for Volume 3 to be released. Aren’t you excited guys?

Maybe you should watch the Promotional trailer for Heroes Volume 3 as posted below:

Desperate Housewives
Promotional poster of Desperate Housewives Season 5

Not forgetting my all-time favourite Desperate Housewives Season 5 will premiere on Sunday, September 28th. I just want to see how bitchy and desperate these housewives can be. Juicylicious!!! (Is there such a word?)

See… I won’t feel bored at all during the weekends even if I don’t visit the shopping malls or cinemas nearby. All I need is my Internet and Astro!!!

Malaysia is Bleeding Inside Out

17 September 2008

Despite many of us who were anticipating 916 to happen, some might be disappointed with the saga of the ISA detainees and some were proud with Zaid Ibrahim’s resignation.

Today, we even have SAPP being pulled out of BN as an independent party and a blogger (Sheih) being arrested from his home. And one of the most unexpected news will be our DPM taking over as Finance Minister now. (Wat the…?!!)

Najib

“Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today said he would pass his finance portfolio to his deputy Najib Abdul Razak, while he takes over as defence minister.
Abdullah told a press conference this afternoon that the swap in the cabinet posts will take effect immediately. The prime minister, who has held the post of finance minister since 2004, said he had informed the cabinet of the decision.
Abdullah said he was handing over the finance portfolio to his deputy because it was an important portfolio that was traditionally held by the prime minister.”

Why is this happening? I can’t comprehend the moves of our dearest PM and DPM. What is the motive of switching posts at this moment? Will our DPM handle the finance portfolio competently? Will this switch solve the rakyat’s problems? I doubt.

Abdullah Badawi

Then we have our PM who is always caught to be in the state of denial, describing Anwar Ibrahim as a national security threat and will possibly invoke ISA arrest towards Anwar.

The prime minister also described Anwar as a “threat” to national security.

“He has become a threat to the economy and possibly (national) security,” he said – a serious allegation which allows the government to invoke the draconian Internal Security Act against him.

“I will not indicate what plan I will take, what I do will be in the best interests of the people and the country,” Abdullah said when asked what action he was going to take.

Anwar a national security threat??? Are you kidding me?

Anwar Ibrahim

How can our PM conveniently blame Anwar for the downfall of economy? How irresponsible of him to say that too? Well, the investors would probably think twice before investing when they realise that there are so many limitations in this country. And now that Anwar kept harping vehemently that he has the numbers to form a government, while our dearest PM is living in a denial mode and defended by calling Anwar a mere liar.

Gosh. What is happening to Malaysia? Many thanks to the administration and governing of BN for the past 51 years. Instead of moving forward, our country is marching backwards. No progress. Full Stop! Yes, no doubt I do agree under Pak Lah’s administration, the freedom of speech has increased further compared to Mahathir’s ironfist administration. Nevertheless, damage has been done and Malaysia is bleeding profusely. Sounds hopeless, right?

Candle in the Dark

To many of us, Anwar seemed to be the only litted candle in the dark, struggling to stay abright despite the stormy and windy atmosphere. He seemed to be the only hope that would stop Malaysia from bleeding further. And now, the government might possibly arrest him under ISA as they deem him as a threat to the national security. Sigh.

If Anwar would be arrested, I doubt there will be someone who is as charismatic as him. I doubt there will be someone who has much experience in BN and willing to challenge BN boldly. I am not sure if there’s someone out there who felt the same way I do. Wished I could do something for the country but helpless because the government is not listening and the draconian ISA would just act on anyone who goes against the government. Anyone feeling this? Or maybe I am the odd one out. Now that the PM has mentioned that it is possible that Anwar could be arrested under ISA. What can the citizens dare to dream when their hope is arrested? What else can we dream? I don’t know. I am not God. If that’s the case, I will just pray and I might be on my one-way ticket out of Malaysia.

Having said that, I wish I do not need to leave as Malaysia is my country and this is where I was born and bred. I wish there will be a rainbow of change. When will Malaysia stop bleeding?

I wonder.

Happy MALAYSIA Day (September 16th)

16 September 2008

It’s September 16th today.  In short, we call it 916.

For Malaysians who know the history well, the formation of Malaysia took place on the September 16th 1963 when Tanah Melayu joined with Sabah Sarawak and Singapore.

Malaysia Flag

It was September 16th 1963 that gave birth to a new nation called Malaysia and that is why until today, September 16th is known as Malaysia Day.

Malaysia Truly Asia

Come on Malaysians, it’s Malaysia Day. We should be happier today!!! Let’s put all the political dramas and sagas aside.  Let us as Malaysians practise peace and harmony towards one another without racial or social discrimination. We all know this and have learnt from school that racial unity is the key to the country’s success.

I’m excited for 916. I am getting ready to fly my flag today!!!

HAPPY MALAYSIA DAY, guys!!!!
