Happy Mid-Autumn Festival
14 September 2008
Time passes really fast this year and I didn’t even realize it was already Mid-Autumn Festival. Don’t you agree with me?

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all readers a Blessed Mid-Autumn Festival. Especially dedicated to the Chinese Community in this country who enjoys eating Mooncakes and litting up the lanterns during this celebration.

Children would be busy playing with lanterns of all different sizes. The common ones would be Japanese lanterns, right?

Kids around my condominium would gather together with their mini lanterns.

Some would be busy litting up candles on the floor. (This means more work for my management’s cleaners tomorrow morning!)

There were some of the kids who were building a wall of “wind-blocker” in order for the candles to stay lighted up!

My brother thinks that he is going to be too old to play with candles because he is 12 now. Hmmm, is it that old?
He prefers to set up a campfire and he was actually burning some leaves just now!!

How I wish I could return to childhood. I missed playing with candles and lanterns you know?

Nevertheless, I would often light up candles that would symbolize a meaning like the one above.
