Looks like there is a piece of good news for those who have lost their virginity a long time ago. You can brush aside your anxiety and you can be a whole new ‘Virgin’ again.

If your family buys NST to read, probably you would flipped through this article on Page 24 yesterday.
According to NST, some foreign students are leaving the country not just with a new academic certificate, but with a “new” intact hymen. It takes only about 30 minutes and voila, the girl is a “virgin” again. The operation is not only attracting foreign students, but some local university students have also started to request for their hymen to be repaired.
They’re usually in their early 20s and most are in the final year of their studies. “The girls don’t come alone (for their consultation and surgery). They come with their boyfriends or a trusted girlfriend,” says a consultant plastic surgeon with a notable hospital in Kuala Lumpur.
A lot can happen when youths leave home to study abroad and sexual exploration is invariably on top of their list. “To them, having the hymen intact is not just an important marriage commodity – their very lives depend on it,” says the surgeon.
Can you believe this?
I couldn’t believe with my own eyes reading this from a Malaysian newspapers. This is happening in Malaysia. Yes, it is no doubt we are brought up in a conservative Asian society, and most parents would require their girls to remain virgin till marriage. My parents do emphasize on this. Not only based on cultural reasons, but based on faith and Christianity beliefs too. Nevertheless, there are some families who do not mind about such cultures since we are moving towards a modernized era.
Back to the article, what’s the point of restoring a new hymen when the girl has decided to explore sexual penetrative acts? She is just going to cheat herself and her future husband with the renewing of virginity. Frankly speaking, I find it absurd.
Furthermore, it’s not cheap to go through procedures such as hymenoplasty (restoration of hymen) or vaginoplasty (tightening and reshaping of the vagina) It is stated that simple vagina tightening surgery costs about RM3,000 to RM8,000 and in certain hospitals, they could charge up to RM16,000. Of course, hymenoplasty is more affordable at RM1,500 to RM3,000. The only setback is, you have to abstain from sex for 6 weeks after the surgery.
Now with this in-thing in town, I guess it would increase the promiscuity among the ladies. They will not be afraid to have pre-marital sex with anyone. Ladies will not need to worry about embarrassing themselves in front of future husbands or old-fashioned mother-in-laws. All they need is just a few thousands of Ringgit to make them virgins again.
What about those who are into vigorous physical activities such as cycling and running? What about those who are actively dancing away? These people who would probably have their hymens torn. Do they need their hymens restored as well? Oh my….

i don’t think any relationship should be started with a lie. Pretending to be pure and innocent will not help create a succesful relationship and if you want to achieve happiness its better to come clean and he should love you for who you are..Good and Bad…thats what i think..

but honestly….a lot have not been bothered whether they are still virgin or not…cos….today..seriously speaking…these people couldn’t be bothered about it…..if their men aren’t really virgins anymore…what qualifies them to expect their wife to be a virgin too??

Its interesting, however we already know that blood shed is a contract between God and Adam and Even when they were exiled from the garden of Eden, in order to clothe them before they left, the sacrifice of an unblemished lamb signified purification of sins, Christ blood was shed in order to wipe our sins away, hence the same for man and woman would signify a binding between man and woman becoming one in flesh, to God its already a contract between the first partner, theres no turning back after that as its already sin viewed as God as adultery.
