I was browsing through some books in MPH Mid Valley today and I stumbled upon this.
Why Men Marry Bitches: A Woman’s Guide to Winning Her Man’s Heart
It’s really amusing to see the title of this book which happens to be a New York Times Bestseller too!
Due to curiosity, I decided to do a quick research on this book which was written by Sherry Argov.
Now according to Sherry Argov, she has written this book to show women how to transform a casual relationship into a committed one. She explains that being nice to your man won’t make him more devoted. In her interviews with men, Argov found that men want to commit to women who exude confidence and are in control of their lives.
Wow. That is something unique. Can you imagine yourself in a world in which roles were reversed and men cooked for women, picked up socks, and couldn’t wait to get married?
I am unsure about this. Perhaps, can you (read: men or boys) tell me which type of woman you are searching to be your wife?
How does a bitch make a man happy?
I wonder.

I believe that’s quite true. In the show What happens in Vegas, the lead female (cameron diaz) is portrayed to be someone who tries very hard to please her guy and as if she doesn’t have a life on her own. The fiance ditches her and she got so upset that she went to Vegas and met the male lead..
the story goes on and there was one point of time when the ex-fiance wanted her back because she looked much more confident and and happier and in control of her life more.

There are some men that like a strong woman who is gentle yet willing to be a CEO like Carly Florina the ex-boss of HP and Compaq computers. Both brains and beauty and is a running mate of John McCain the Republican Presidential Candidate. It is especially true of men who seems to like the challenge of a woman who is a teaser in both personality and in the boudoir. Anyway, it takes all sorts to make this world.

aiyoh…don’t think any men in general likes to have an angjing betina to be their wife…i mean come on…except..to a certain extend that the men have super duper low self-esteem…that’s more to the ‘opposites attracts’ kind of matter…..but i do believe as a couple…there needs to be a balance between the both…because at the end of the day…i really believe that…….one is made complete by the other…:)

in general men like to have their wife to know how to behave themselves in all situations. manja when manja time yet know how to stand themselves when the situation arises.

I think the most important things girls like us need to learn is taichi. Know what you want and go all out to get it without anything standing in your way BUT… without pissing the whole world off for playing hardcore feminist. Haha.
But I do realise that it’s true. Men want women they can’t have. And if they’ve got a woman they THINK they can’t have, they’ll stick for fear of them losing what other men want to have, too.
I hope I’m not confusing you. Haha.

Not all women are like that… Some are, but not all…
But then again, usually when people are dating, they act. Only when they are actually in a committed relationship relationship, you see the muka…
In that case, must really shake the woman… (*I say this coz i dont believe in hitting women… but shake them hard till they pengsan can…*)
But finding a woman that you like 24/7 is kinda hard. I mean, at some point or another, you will find something that pisses you off…

Eh Darlene has a girl? Since when? Hrmm.. can’t really comment much on this part here. All I can say is when i was younger in my teens, the ideal girl that I always thought of was one who would be able to stand up even to me in times where she needs to prove her point and we’d like have a plasma shield to plasma shield touching, feel the aura and the mental force ploughing at one another destroying everything around us but keeping the two of us intact. Then again those were dreams back then.

To be honest, whenever there was a girl in the girl the group of friends back with my old youth group that could go nuke if she wanted to, I was called upon to stand up to her since I was the only guy who could go nuke also. We’re talking atomic science here when a neutron hits a u-238 particle it gives off 3 neutrons, which then forms a chain reaction hitting 3 other u-238 particles in turn release 3 neutrons each making them 9, and then cycle continues on and we have what is called nuclear fission…

she doesn’t mean bitch as in being mean or manipulative, she means bitch as a strong confident woman who can take care of herself… i read her other book and it was really good. plan to read this one too.
