Sometimes, we will tend to reach a crossroad in life. Sometimes, we are not sure whether which will be the appropriate road to walk on.
One wrong decision will cause one to make a Big U-turn if he or she realises too late.
I am in the midst of a crossroad. Wondering which road should be taken.
Should I grab any Tom, Dick & Harry’s opportunity that comes along the way? Should I further my studies? Should I fly? Should I wait? Should I do this? Should I do that?
I wish God could come down from Heaven to give me a sign right now. How I wish.
“Glory, Glory Man United. Glory, glory Man United. Glory, glory Man United. As we go marching on”
(First of all, these pictures are taken off from Manchester United’s official website.)
I cannot describe how ecstatic I am feeling right now.
I watched the game where Manchester United beat Wigan 2-0 at the JJB Stadium for the 17th English championship title. It was the 10th triumph of English Premier League (EPL) for both Sir Alex Ferguson as well as skipper Ryan Giggs.
Manchester United must be in seventh heaven right now. The ultimate joy of lifting the Barclays trophy put a smile on my face as I see the players celebrating victoriously.
You should see this as I didn’t see much of the celebration in ESPN just now. Thanks to YouTube.
Now, Manchester United, go get a double from Champions League Finals in Moscow!
24 years ago, you have carried me for 38 weeks in your womb wherever you go. Till the day, you brought me into the world.
The amount of labour pain you have to go through while bringing me into this world. You not only had to go through it once, but twice because of my little brother too.
It has never been easy for you, Mama. To feed and educate us, and at the same time you had to earn a living in order to provide enough basic necessities for me and didi.
There is a famous saying that goes “Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs in my field, since the payment is pure love” by Mildred B. Vermont. It’s very true!
Mama, I just want to thank you for all the jokes and joy you have brought into the house. Sometimes, we might be squabbling over little little things that we disagree with each other, but we still love each other very much. Right, mum?
One thing I know for sure, Mama, you have BIG HEART! It’s so big that I wonder how many tonnes of gold can be found in this heart!
Mama, I hereby wishing you HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY!
With Love,
Your eldest child
P.S. Would be bringing you and daddy out for dinner. The place would be remain unknown till you see it yourself, Mama.
I can’t believe this when I watched American Idol lately. It’s getting more exciting each week!!
Top 4 of American Idol Season 7 : (L-R) David Cook, Syesha Mercado, Jason Castro, David Archuleta
To be in the TOP 4, it would never be easy. Can you imagine the amount of pressure choking up their sleeves in order to win millions of Americans’ votes?
L-R: Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson
Even the judges claim that this is one of the best seasons of American Idol.
Honestly speaking, I enjoyed watching American Idol this year. It’s competitive for sure.
Well, it’s healthy to have competition between the top performers especially with these two Davids in this singing competition.
David Cook, who is more on the manhood and could attract tonnes of young women across the globe with his voice. Some say he is like the second Daughtry.
Belting away “Baba O’Riley” to woo the crowd
Cook can really hit high notes. I am amazed by this.
Cook performing his 2nd song “Hungry like A Wolf”
He is more of a rocker and this is no wonder I easily benchmark him against Chris Daughtry. However, this performance didn’t really work for me.
Something is missing here.
David Archuleta, on the other hand attracts young girls. He reminds me a lot of the Malaysian Idol 2 days when Daniel Lee was the winner.
Having said that, I am impressed with Archuleta’s performance this week.
His first number was “STAND BY ME”.
Come on, this young chap is only 17 this year. He is melting girls away.
He was belting “LOVE ME TENDER” by Elvis Presley.
I find it superbly awesome! I seriously felt the song.
OH NO, I am moved by this 17 year old guy!!
Now, based on these performances in the round of TOP 4,who do you think will be walking away with the crown of American Idol 2008?
