Crossroads
13 May 2008
Sometimes, we will tend to reach a crossroad in life. Sometimes, we are not sure whether which will be the appropriate road to walk on.
One wrong decision will cause one to make a Big U-turn if he or she realises too late.

I am in the midst of a crossroad. Wondering which road should be taken.
Should I grab any Tom, Dick & Harry’s opportunity that comes along the way? Should I further my studies? Should I fly? Should I wait? Should I do this? Should I do that?
I wish God could come down from Heaven to give me a sign right now. How I wish.

when the opportunity comes along and its one too good to turn down babe, just take it.
making the decision is simple, but the hard part is sticking on to it and bearing with the consequences.

turn what? God gave us a choice, He nvr chooses for us. If He choose for us, then, there’s NO FREE WILL already.!!!! But of cause, the Choices He gives, are always the BEST from his list.
So, no worries lo. Life is life, we live to learn and appreciate what we have.
So, WHAT”S YOUR PLAN ??????????
listen to ur heart, listen to ur feeling, which 1 u feels comfortable. It’s NVR TOO LATE TO turn back if u chose wrongly. ok… =)

I’m gonna go on a funny tangent here…
I once was at a cross road of my life… Had to decide to pump at Shell or Mobil… so i decided to go to Mobil…
As I sat in the car contemplating stuff, I thought i heard my god speak to me
“Oy tak boleh pam lagi… damn sampai limit!!!”
Apparently, it was the cashier on the loudspeaker, yelling at me coz i was standing at the pump for 5 mins just pressing the bloody pump handle…
but on a serious note, you will get that moment of epiphany that will tell you as to what path to take…

U know what….i believe…at times…we just have to start taking the first step….before anything cud be seen….God don’t always work the way we want him to be..as much as we think He needs to do something about it…but the truth is…he don’t always do….but yet..t doesnt mean He doesn’t care…….just that…we just have to walk..in Faith..not what we see…..:)

I know how you feel, too…

s2k_247 : I would like to buy your story. It works most of the time.
gerald : Yes. I walk by faith, and not by sight.
Jesca : The inner voice will show each of us which way to take. =)

Cross roads are made of smaller cross roads and of smaller cross roads.
Bumpy roads doesn’t mean they are the wrong way.
Good roads doesn’t mean there is no danger along the way.
You will never start if you don’t know which direction
if there is no direction, you don’t know where to start.
OK.. back to square one…:)
Now let me take you thru’ another path…
Start with the smallest cross-road, if it’s the wrong one.. it’s not too far to turn back,
At every cross-road, pick a path using whatever information in hand as the most logical path.
At every crossroad, pick another direction using whatever information and experience that you have gather during the journey and make it your next logical path.
As more and more cross-roads you encounter, your path will be clearer and clearer and you keep on making decisions basing on whatever you learn during the journey. Eventually, you will KNOW which direction you want.
Now go back to square ONE and you will break the above circular Chain .. hehehe
that is:
You will never start if you don’t know which direction
if there is no direction, you don’t know where to start.
Now direction is solved…
Smooth sailing… bon voyage !!

Now an example in reality…:
I started work as a labourer then I took a crossroad

– fish hunting
then moved on to be a saleman then I took another crossroad
I went back to study then changed directions again…
I shifted to another state… Kedah.
Worked as a clerk, tried some small paths – rear chicken and open photo studio
now I have 3 crossroads to pick
I dumb all of them and took a new path – Amway.
then I U turn back to become a clerk again.
* with my vast experiences from all the cross-roads
I decided – I want to be MY own BOSS
armed with all this experience… I never looked back…
I stormed, I crashed, I pushed, I slog….
*you see when you have a clear direction… nothing can stop you
Today, I run a global business
I hope this small posting can open a gap in your mind on to how to proceed

Wow…. that’s a long advice for me…. I appreciate it a lot…..

Ikutlah jalan yang “lurus”… (imagine this being said in a sage-ly tone, yohohoho)
Time waits no man…or girl in your case. Whatever, but anything that you do, you must do it with a strong resolve and goal to achieve. That ensures you will not regret it at the end of the day
Put it this way: you are a rifle, your resolve is your scope, and your goal is your target. Hitting the bull’s eye would be so much easier with the scope and the target.
Err……dun mind if I ask, what is it that you might want to further study? Thinking of doing masters?

tokmoh : Yeah….. masters….
anyway thanks a lot for your advice dude…appreciate it a lot a lot a lot
